Sunday remembers what you tell it, reads your documents and email, researches the web and works in your tools — with its memory in plain markdown files you own. It asks before anything goes out.
On Sept 12 you decided to take it if they matched the remote-first policy — see plans/job-search. Lena's last email confirms they do and asks for a start date. You told me you'd prefer Nov 3.
I've drafted a reply accepting, with Nov 3 as the start date.

Features
Knows your context. Does the work. Asks first.
Sunday ties together your notes, decisions, plans, inbox and learning — and remembers, so you don't have to.
Memory you own
Everything Sunday learns about you lives in plain markdown files in a folder on your disk. Open them in Obsidian, edit them, back them up however you like.
Before every reply, it recalls the notes that matter to what you just said.
Search runs locally, with on-device embeddings.
Delete the folder and it's gone. No cloud copy.

And more
One assistant for the rest of your day.
Hands builds to coding agents
“Have Claude Code add dark mode to my blog.” It runs in the background; watch each step, then see exactly what changed.
Researches the web
Searches, reads any page or PDF as clean text, and pulls in whole documentation sections at once.
Reads and writes documents
Drop in a resume, a receipt or a PDF and it remembers it. Ask for a report or a deck and get a real PDF, .docx or .pptx.
Helps you learn for real
Study plans from real sources, then flashcards on a spaced-repetition schedule so it sticks.
Everyday apps
Expenses from a sentence or a receipt photo, calories from a plate photo, and workouts that tell you when to level up.
Routines on a clock
“Every weekday at 9, find three new AI jobs for me.” Runs on its own and reports back.
Connects your tools
Sign in to Notion, Jira, GitHub or Slack with a click, or add local MCP servers just like in Claude Desktop.
Your Chrome, when needed
Sites like Gmail block automated browsers. The Sunday extension uses your signed-in Chrome instead — only its own tabs, every click approved.
Or message it on Telegram
Pair Telegram once to ask, trigger tasks and approve with a tap. It only ever answers your account.
How it works
Up and running in two minutes.
No account to create and no server to run. One command installs it; one key powers every model.
1
Install
Paste the install command into Terminal. It downloads Sunday and adds the sunday command.
2
Add your key
Paste an OpenRouter key when asked and choose where your memory folder lives. That's the whole setup.
3
Talk to it
Run sunday and it opens in your browser. Update any time with sunday update.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Is Sunday free?
Yes. Sunday itself is free. It uses AI models through your own OpenRouter key, so you pay OpenRouter only for what you use.
Does my data leave my Mac?
Your notes, files, email and logins stay on your Mac. Only the model calls go out, with your own key. Remote access is off until you set it up.
Which Macs does it run on?
Macs with Apple Silicon (M1 or newer), with Node.js 24 or newer installed.
Do I need Obsidian?
No. Sunday's memory is a folder of markdown files. Obsidian is a nice way to browse and edit them, but it's optional.
Can I use it from my phone?
Yes. Run sunday remote setup on your Mac and pair your phone at app.sundaybot.me, or pair Telegram. Sunday keeps running on your Mac.
Is Sunday the same as Sutra?
Yes. Sutra was renamed to Sunday in version 0.1.8. Your data carries over, and the sutra command still works.
